NewBizRadar makes public business registration data accessible and actionable. Every week, tens of thousands of new businesses register across the United States. This data is public - filed with state Secretary of State offices and tracked by the U.S. Census Bureau - but it is scattered across 50 different state databases with varying formats and access methods.
We aggregate this data into a single, searchable platform so service providers, researchers, and business owners can find new businesses in their area quickly and for free.
All data comes from public government sources. We do not purchase data from private data brokers.
Our system fetches business formation data from the Census Bureau weekly. For states with open data APIs (like Iowa, Washington, Florida, and California), we also pull individual business registration records. This data is processed, categorized by industry, and made available through our searchable state, city, and industry pages.
Subscribers receive a weekly email digest every Monday morning with newly registered businesses matching their city and industry preferences.
